Toe gone numb, help!

B12 completely normal and not diabetic (tested for both within the last fortnight).

I've only really noticed it coming on today, and it's only half of the bottom of my big toe but I think it's spreading to the rest of the toe. I'm also having some general tingly feelings in my feet and face (but this is pretty normal for me).

Any ideas/advice? And yes, I'm 100% going to speak to GP about this!

Have you had your ferritin checked? Have you stubbed your toe or hurt it in any way where you could have upset the nerve.

The end of one of my big toes has for the last few years gone numb and tingly as soon as my feet get even a little but cold. So I'd be interested to read of any explanations on the thread.

The autumn timing of your awareness of this, OP, suggests it might be connected with the cold in your case too?

Raynauds? Do you have any other symptoms?

Not as far as I'm aware, no! Ferritin was slightly low, but I've had it low before and nothing like this

I don't think so-- it's still quite toasty here (south of England)

If you get an explanation for it I’d love to know. I’ve had this for years and even my hospital consultant doesn’t know what’s causing it!

Did you ever get any scans or anything?
