Menstrual Migraine - struggling

Anyone have these and say how they feel when they get them? For context I've never struggled with my periods, been very lucky. Never used to feel any different, no mood changes or cramps even after my first child. All changed now though 😅 I had my second baby 10 weeks ago and for the last 3 weeks or so I've felt a bit 'off'. Struggling with headaches on one side, blurred vision and feeling generally unwell. I've now got my period and decided to Google it and low and behold I've ticked nearly every symptom on the attached list. Could it just be as it's my first one since birth I'm having an overload of hormones 😅 any experience of this would be great to hear x

I have menstrual migraines. Dr prescribed me medication to take the week before my period due and for the duration of it

I get these, they've gradually got worse as I've got older (now 45yo).

The only thing that helps is co codomol, caffeine, sleep and lots of water.

Sometimes Vicks on my head helps a bit as well.

I suffer with hormonal migraines, horrific. However if you’ve been feeling unwell for the past 3 weeks and you’re post partum, I really think you should see your GP to rule out other important causes of blurred vision and headache. Hormonal migraines do not usually last 3 weeks. Hope you feel better soon.
