ring NHS direct.just in case.

What colour is the inside of his mouth? How fast is he breathing? Is there anything odd about it?

To be honest with you, you do sound worried so I think your best bet will be to give NHS Direct a call and get him seen by the out of hours GP.

I'd take him to A&E if you can. Not wanting to alarm you but cold hands and feet together with high fever and listlessness can be symptoms of meningitis/septicemia. I always think it's best to check things out to be on the safe side.
Good luck and hope he's better soon.

i'm sorry.can't seem to find a local number for you.however,if i were you...not wishing to preach or anything...i'd ring your local hospital and ask to speak to a nurse/doctor.they may suggest you bring him in but at least they can put your mind at rest. really hope everything's ok. they're always a big worry aren't they?
