Had a insect bite on Friday night. Red dot like a large burst blood vessel.
It's swollen still red.

Have you taken antihistamines and used hydrocortisone? See a pharmacist tomorrow if you're concerned.

Aquarius1234 · 15/09/2024 17:37

No I don't have any. Excuse the terrible pic.

Ok thanks. I'll go to pharmacy when open tomorrow.

I react like that to mosquito bites. Antihistamines are what's needed. Can you get to a Sainsburys local or Tesco Extra?

Ellejay57 · 15/09/2024 18:07

Not a weird bite. Just how your body has reacted. Mine reacts like this and if on feet I can't get shoes on. Puriton knocks me out lol. For future get the plaited wrist bands with Citronella...they're great.

Is it itchy, like a mosquito bite, or painful? It looks a bit like a spider bite. If it’s painful, it might be worth calling 111.

Aquarius1234 · 15/09/2024 18:13

No idea what it was. Just there when I woke up.
Co-op is open late but not sure what they sell for that.
A little itchy not much.

Oh right is that to avoid bites?
