Acne scars

Hi everyone
First time poster so I'm quite nervous! I'm only 22, will be 23 in October, however since my early teen years I've suffered really badly with acne and since having my son in April this year it got worse.

I've recently started a steroid/antibiotic cream which has helped massively but now all that's left is the acne scars on both my cheeks... this is the last little bit that's bringing me down. What's been best to remove these without further treatment? Is there a (high street drugstore?) cream I can use which can be added to my skin care routine? Or would it be best to speak with a pharmacist? I'd really like to know if something has helped anyone and has been happy with their results! Please send me your recommendations as it's really getting me down

If you report the thread to HQ they’ll correct the title for you, so people who can tell you about acne scars are more likely to notice it.

You could look at retinol, it increases the cellular turnover of the skin so will help with the healing. The best thing is micro-needling, it creates tiny wounds which will stimulate collagen production. You are looking at dermal level trauma so creams won’t be able to treat the scarring as well as treatments will.
