Stringy thing in wee just had UTI

Hi

So abit gross so apologies I've used an old glass to collect some urine to dip it.

Last week I had uti symptoms so went to the doctors and was confirmed I had leukocytes blood and protein was given 3 days trimeoprim. Finished those Sunday and I'm still not sure if it's gone. I still am weeing more and feeling pressure etc.

Checked my wee using dipsticks and found trace of blood and leukocytes still but also this weird stringy thing? Anyone know what this is? Trying to work out if the UTI is still there or I'm just having some last effects of it that will go. But this stringy thing alarmed me! Thanks

Yes I agree with PP, very likely to be vaginal discharge

Definitely get screened again to see if the UTI is still there. Some beed a further dose of antibiotics. And they take hold so quickly. Don’t take the risk OP. UTIs are vile.

@HerewegoagainSS yeah that's what I was worried about then saw this with other bits floating and wondered if it's still there. They don't ever prescribe long enough doses if I ever get one, a lot of the time I have to get more!
