ive been very tired and lethargic recently and put it down to. menopause.. had blood tests taken to check any deficiencies.. they all came back normal.

gave a urnine sample... and today i have been sent an invitation by my GP to attend a course designed to help people diagnosed with IBS?

i did a quick google and i can see that IBS can be diagnosed from a urine test.. the thing is, i was diagnosed with IBS many many years ago, we must be talking 10/15 years ago.

at the time i was supposed to be referred too a dietician but nothing ever came of it and i just cracked on with my life.

surely this referral isn't from way back then? and surely my records will already show a diagnosis?

i have a telephone consultation with my GP next week, i guess i might get some answers then.. just seems really odd

It’s possible that the course is a new thing being offered and, as you already have a diagnosis on record, they’ve done a search for eligible patients who may benefit and you have been invited.
