Has kefir made me vomit?

Went for a run this morning then impulse bought some kefir which I drank about 100ml of on an empty stomach, I’ve only had kefir a couple of times before on a full stomach. 4 hours later I started feeling a bit dizzy and nauseous and a couple hours after that I’m vomiting.

is it the kefir or have I caught the latest bug?

It would be unusual to feel ill from shop bought kefir as it's pasteurised but it normally is a good idea to build up a tolerance to it.

Much better to get some kefir grains and make some yourself - start off just having a tablespoon a day and then build up until you can have a glass of it.

Is that all you've ingested today?

Did you have a headache too, OP, or any visual disturbance? Just wondering if it might have been a migraine, which can cause vomiting. I can't have milk or fermented milk drinks, instant migraine!

Hope you're feeling better now, whatever the cause.

No headache, felt a bit dizzy, I’m feeling much better today but not much appetite
