Pregnancy symptoms but not pregnant. Driving me insane!

So for the last 6 months I have had classic pregnancy symptoms. Knackered, frequent peeing, back ache, plus abdominal pains. I’m on the pill so it’s not that. However for the last 3 months I’ve had no breakthrough bleeding on any of my pill breaks so I had been testing like a nutcase worried. But they are all negative.

I went to the gp about 3 months ago and they tested for kidney stones but it came back negative so they were at a bit of a loss and said to try and eat healthier and see how I get on. I’m planning to ring them on Monday for another appointment but I feel like there’s not going to be much more they can do. I am only really concerned because the back pain is getting worse and can keep me up in the night, it almost radiates through me.

Can anyone shed any light? I’m 31, normal BMI, not particularly stressed, try to exercise a few times a week.

Check for bladder stones, gall bladder and ovarian cysts.

I used to get this all the time (I'm 51 now). Looking back on it, I think it was 1 of 2 things

  1. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis and I wonder whether I had that in my younger years because the bloating and the peeing and the pain came with that
  2. Gastritis (which I've struggled with a lot of my life) which also gives very similar symptoms

Did they check for urine infection when you went to see them?

Go back to your GP and get a full blood works and a referral: it could be an awful lot of things and some of them very serious.
If you have a complaint and the doctor can't initially diagnose it, and it doesn't go away then you need to keep going back, and get more tests done.

Thank you - this is really helpful.

Haven’t managed to get an appointment yet but will keep trying. I lost my aunt and uncle to cancer so really uneasy when dr google keeps pointing me in that direction.

They did kidney stones, pregnancy test and UTI when I went in last and it was all negative. I will ask for the full blood works.

Update on this, I have a GP appointment for tomorrow.

It’s still driving me crazy. My skin is terrible, my hair is oily and I’m piling weight on. I’m actually convinced they are going to tell me I’m 3 months pregnant (despite the negative tests!)
