I am needing to save a bit of money and was wondering if there is any difference between expensive brand name vitamins and supermarkets like Lidl?
I have heard something about bio availability but I’m not sure quite what that is or how important it is.
any advice or recommendations most welcome

I've never bought expensive brands just go for the cheaper ones

there is no regulation at all with supplements.

more expensive ones tend to have better quality control and use pharmacopeia 'recipes' which ensure consistency.

I get mine from Healthspan. I've used them for years, very reasonable as well. You order them online, arrive very quickly as well.

Have a look at sealions.com, they were recommended on here.
When dd saw a dietian she said own brand were fine, not to use the jelly/gummy ones as they didn't absorb as well. Said look for a-z multivitamins as these cover a better range. And look at what they contain of your recommended daily amount.
