Top tooth split

I took my 13m old to dentist as he has discolouring on his tooth which they said could be enamel deficiency.

his top tooth seems to be coming through split, which dentist couldn’t really explain - anyone ever seen anything like this before?

DD had this! A normal front tooth and a double one.
It was sweet and I was told very normal. I still have it! (All secondary teeth normal)

PS Live in Spain and IMO dentists are a bit better here.

Is it not just the next tooth coming down?

@BlackStrayCat did it only happen on the one tooth? I was concerned as the discoloured tooth and now this!

Yes, just the one tooth!
Something was said I think, about lots of calcium - ie not a problem!

Really dont fret, they will fall out soon enough. Just keep them as clean as possible so second teeth are healthy.

My son had this and I thought it was some sort of hereditary anomaly as his dad was the same. It fell out as normal and I've probably still got it somewhere
