Pain in the front of the pelvis

I'm struggling with pain in my pelvis. It's on both sides, in what I think is the iliac crest. It feels a bit better if the dog is laying on my lap and pressing against it. It's not stopping me from daily activities, but I'm aware of it all day. Any ideas?

Is it particularly noticeable after a certain activity?

Or are you sitting 'incorrectly' at a desk all day?

Are you hypermobile?

Not sitting at a desk (SAHM). Possibly slightly hypermobile.

It's a gnawing pain rather than sharp. It does seem to be better if I push on my bones.

I asked about this as I get a similar pain when my sacroiliac joint is in the wrong place. Stretching my quads and glutes helps, as well as rest when needed, but you have to do it regularly. I would recommend consulting with a physio, private if you can afford it. If it is that, you'll need exercises to do.
