So what do you do with a dc with chickenpox?

Where can you go? Can I take him shopping?Where do you avoid? and how long does it really last?

Better stay home until scabbed. There are vulnerable people out there.
Usually that's about 5 days from first spot.
What you can do is go out to the park and let him release some energy on his scooter or bike or kick a ball. Better avoid playgrounds though. You'll definitely get dirty looks.
