Metronidazole - how effective?

I am in agony with an infected wisdom tooth. I’ve been prescribed metronidazole and just wondering how long on average it takes to kick in. Not sure how much longer I can put up with the pain with 2 babies to look after. My ear and jaw are throbbing 😓

It took 2-3 days for me. It worked brilliantly though after a two day extraction!

You'll start feeling it after two days. It's really effective, as long as you complete the entire course.
