That makes sense, I have psoriasis on my scalp but have never had it elsewhere before. Can it just crop up randomly?

Unfortunately yes. I also have scalp psoriasis and have one of these pop up now and again luckily only one, never more.

Looks like guttate psoriasis. I sometimes just have one 'drop' pop up!
