Hi all. A few days ago I came out in hives for the first time in my life, all over my legs and stomach. A bit weird - I took an antihistamine and it went away, but this morning it’s back and all over my body. I can’t think of anything I’ve done differently and am really confused. I’m 9 months postpartum and am now a bit worried that there’s something up with me.
I started a new combined contraceptive pill 8 days ago so I’m not sure if that’s related? I had an unrelated doctors appointment the other day and he advised that once you have a baby these off things can happen. I’ve taken combined contraceptives before years ago and didn’t have any side effects.
I realise it isn’t life threatening but it’s uncomfortable, has anyone else experienced this?
