Haven’t had my blood pressure checked in 12 months. I just did my blood pressure at work and it’s reading 125/85 which has concerned me as it says stage 1 hypotension on Google…? I’m 28 years old, a female, slightly overweight

120/80 is optimal blood pressure. 125/85 (especially for 1 reading) is barely out of range. Also hypotension is low blood pressure and that would mean readings of less than 120/80.

I think you might have got the wrong end of the stick op

You're fine.

That's fine. If you're worried, record it for 5 days morning and evening then drop it into your GP's office. Generally GP's will only issue advice until the readings average out over 140/90.

That reading is fine though. BP fluctuates every minute of the day.
