Had antibiotics and steroids and it’s still here!

I get the same thing every so often, is it swollen and stings? Really itchy? Almost scaly? Me and my GP decided it's a contact allergy to something but I'm still none the wiser. I'd thought maybe gel nails, linolene or aloe vera (still not sure but I avoid them all now and it hasn't come back - touch wood).

Anyway, what got rid of it was being prescribed a cream called Protopic. I'd tried steroid creams and tablets too, they didn't work.

I have had similar to this. I wipe my eyes twice daily with blephasol, and that keeps it under control. When it's very dry or sore I use a tiny amount of vaseline. I was also prescribed nizoral shampoo and was told to let it run over my face when I used it. This was despite not really having scalp problems at the time. I did try hydrocortisone, but that didn't work at all.

I have had this before, it was very uncomfortable - it did coincide with me using an eyelash growth serum but also another time with me using a Charlotte Tilbury eye cream. Each time I stopped using both and applied some e45 and other random soothing creams and potions and rode it out. Eventually it sorted itself but it did go all flaky around my eyelid for a while which wasn’t especially attractive!

Random thought but, coeliac rash?
