Sore Gums

For the past year I keep getting random soreness in my gums. I’ve been to the dentist several times and they advised that my teeth are completely fine even after taking x rays. I’ve been given antibiotics which I took and it helped however the soreness comes back after a couple months. The dentist has just advised to brush and floss which I do everyday. My general diet is healthy with clean foods and I do not smoke. Does anyone have any advice please? Shall I visit another dentist maybe?

Do certain foods hurt when you eat? Tomato or citrus fruits? Do you have little white patches on your gums and are they red and shiny?
I have erosive lichen planus which took years to diagnose. It started with sore gums which I put down to being allergic to toothpaste! I don't want to cause you concern but have a google about it.

I have similar. Been to the dentist and hygienist regularly and they say that my gums are fine, but I have two small areas that are sore. My dentist is a stickler about gum health and I think he thinks I’m neurotic! I’ve had x rays too, daily floss, water pik, use gengergel . I don’t have white patches. Are there any dentists who can offer advice?
