chicken pox-

my 3 year old has chicken pox- spots arrived on sat and its monday night now. Should they all be out now? Is it likely my baby will catch it too? When can i take him out in public and any tips to speed along the healing process??

Sorry, but DS was 2.9 when he hadit. Ds2 was 8 weeks old and caught it off him, and was erally ill.
If baby gets it tkae it to Gp as can be awful and I was fobbed off by my Gp over teh phone.

My baby caught it about 2 weeks after DS1 -inclubation period is about 12 days I think. How old is the baby, sometimes the baby will still have immunity from Mum up to about 6mnths.
I would keep him/her in for 5 days min, piriton for 3 yr old m,bplus calamine lotion for the spots (aqueous calamine cream goes on a bit easier)- you may still get a few more spots - but worst is prob over. I wouldn't take to GP if you know it is CP - it is v.infectious so try to stay in
