NHS Dentist

Hi, does anyone have any luck with NHS dentists?
I've been away for a few days and have had toothache since Thursday evening - I need to see a dentist.

Unfortunately my dentist went private during covid. I'm apprehensive that I'll need a filling or root canal. What would cost me £73.50 on NHS Band 2 will potentially cost me hundreds privately. I've been looking and a private root canal is around £700, I'd like to avoid this procedure if at all possible. I'm hoping a filling will work.

Is there anyway I can see an emergency NHS dentist without being registered? Is this something 111 could refer me to?
I'm in so much pain, struggling to eat and sleep now😔
Yorkshire area if that helps.

Thanks!

111 can refer you to your local dental access centre. However they only do emergency treatment so probably not a root canal.

Yes, I'm in West Yorkshire and 111 will get you an emergency appointment.

Also if it helps, dentagen and/or clove oil has helped me with tooth pain until I could get treatment.

Please do not advise Clove oil , it is irritant, acidic and highly allergenic. I have had to take teeth out where the gum has burned down to the bone.
Do phone 111 who will get you out of pain but you will need treatment afterwards
