Abdominal cramping pain all day and tender lower right abdomen

Hi :) since this morning I've had on and off stomach cramps, right in the middle by my belly button. At first it was mild, and I thought
maybe I just needed the loo (I've been dieting lately so thought my bowels were out of whack) but afterwards the pain was still coming and going.

Late this afternoon it seemed to be worsening and I noticed the lower right side of my abdomen (like 8cm down and 8cm to the right of my belly button) is very tender to touch.

I'm a bit worried about appendicitis but the general cramps are still in the middle, not on the tender spot. Is this a good sign? Am I right in thinking appendicitis doesn't have cramping pain? I have poo'd 3 times today and I'm gassy which leads me to think it's more a general GI upset and I don't want to waste time with 111 for a bad stomach 🙈

Forgot to mention as well the pain is a lot less if I’m still. When I move around is when it gets worse.

Thanks all, I started vomiting early hours last night and it got worse so I went to A&E, long story short I’m having my appendix removed in a few hours!

Definitely sounds like textbook appendicitis to me (from experience!) I'm glad to see you are now at the hospital and that they're taking your troublesome appendix out today. I hope you have a gentle and safe recovery. Sending strength to you.

I was coming on to say that sounds familiar, had my appendix out a year ago! Hope the op went smoothly.
