Heyyy,

I suffered from bells palsy last Oct whilst in my third trimester of pregnancy, which then led onto pulsatile tinnitus a month later. And once I had the baby, I realised I've also got tmj. My tmj disorder has recovered, and I'm better with my bells palsy. However, my pulsatile tinnitus is still lingering, which is making me so anxious.
I have an MRI tomorrow, and I am so worried about what the cause may be, although my ent consultant said it may be the lasting effects of bells palsy that may have damaged a nerve. But I can't stop but think of the worst.

Hi OP hope you're ok - when do you get the results of the MRI ?

@rubyslipperss, well, they did say it could take up to 9 weeks. And the wait is distressing me.

Hi that probably means if it's normal it can take that long . I'm sure if there is any abnormality they would get back to you sooner . I replied to your message as I have pulsatile tinnitus connected with a brain condition which I take medication for . It is awful waiting for results.

I've had pulsatile tinnitus on and off for years. It seems to come back when I am ill. Hope they don't find anything nasty.
