Phoning gp tomorrow just looking for other people's experiences please.

My daughter is 4 and over the last month she keeps having diarrhoea on and off, not so much water but very loose, explosive and very rotten but sweet smelling (sorry tmi), she doesn't seem to be in any pain/no temperature, eating drinking normal and not losing weight.
She's autistic so only eats around 10 safe foods so can't see food being the issue when she hasn't eaten or drunk anything new for atleast a year. I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this? I'm phoning the gp tomorrow I haven't this far as she has it for two days it goes for a few days then comes back, just to mention nobody in the house has had diarrhoea(or sickness) thank you

So she was fine before, nothing has changed diet wise? Does she have virus? Is she eating something she is intolerant on those days?

In my experience, explosive diarrhoea was because of the allergy.

@noctiscaelum fine before, hasn't eaten anything new, literally nothing, come on randomly

She may be intolerant to a food she was previously fine with.

Quite a few children I know are lactose intolerant without a family history of it. I also grew up with people who had rarer intolerances e.g. apples, pears.

It could be constipation related. Does she drink enough?
