Hi, didnt want to read and run.
I've had the prostap injections and it started the menopausal symptoms straight away so it's best to familiarise yourself on how to manage the symptoms. I then had hrt which controlled some of the symptoms but brought some bleeding back on.
Then they switched me to a pill which was basically like the prostap and hrt combined but wasnt on that for long as I then had lap surgery to remove the growths and they put in mirena coil at the same time. That surgery was in March. Initially I felt much better but now I feel back to square one unfortunately.
I have a follow up in August so will speak to them again.

The prostap works differently for different people but it pus your ovaries to sleep to help manage any new growth.
It helped me having thin bed sheets and light covers because the night sweats were horrendous.
Also wearing thin layers helps as you can remove layers when you have a hot flush.
Make sure you have a good support system so they understand what you are going through.
Good luck
