What is this rash?

These patches are on my daughter’s leg. One below the knee and the other on the side of her other leg above her ankle. I had first thought ringworm but I don’t know? 3 days into using anti fungal cream and no change…

What do you think? Ringworm or not?

It can take a couple of weeks, treatment needs to be continued after it does fade though. Is it more pink irl?

No it’s no pinker in real life - day 3 of cream and no difference so hoping it helps 😞

Ringworm tends to have an actual redder ring round the outside with more normal looking skin in the middle.

DS1 had something like that but pinker. GP diagnosed ringworm but it did not clear so referred to dermatology who said discoid eczema.
I would suggest continue with treatment in the first instance as fungal infections take time to clear

When I had suspected ringworm it turned out to be discoid eczema

It's discoid eczema 100% my legs are covered with it
