DS' willy looks sore!

Since yesterday evening - it looks all red and a tiny bit swollen maybe. Any ideas what it could be? He's 6 months

did you put one of his nappies on with his willy pointing up instead of down by mistake?

Does he show any discomfort when wee-ing, you are going to let him go nappyless for an hour or so to find that out probably

Does it look red all over or just the tip?

It could have maybe been pointing up - it was while my mum was looking after him yesterday. It was ok when we left and looked red last night. It's all over. dp reckons it's just from being in wee but his nappy wasnt on any longer than usual.
He's got his nappy off now to see if the air will help - he's got no problems weeing - he's just done it all over me.....twice!!

Would nappy rash be just on his willy and nothing else though? I thought nappy rash went all over thats why I was a bit unsure about this one.... he's in the same nappies and we dont use cream unless he gets a bit of a rash but not seen it like this before......

tyhanks for your help hmo2. I didnt notice anything on when he wee'd on me earlier lol His foreskin isn't retracted at all - it's all fairly normal, just red! I'm wondering if maybe she put his nappy on with it pointing up instead of down and the wee has been trapped underneath therefore making it sore as looking at it again it's not really red on the underside, just the top
