Pre menopausal advice

Hi all, I am 43 and at the beginning of this year I started getting anxiety. Drs tested my blood for signs of me being pre menopausal but they said I am not. Since then my underarms itch (unless I use Wild deodrant), I wake up most nights wet from sweats, I am getting insomnia at times and I still have anxiety a lot. My question is how do you all best cope with being pre menopausal?

Ignore the doctor, if you’ve got symptoms then you are peri menopausal.
Until I went on HRT I treated it symptom by symptom. So I went on omega 3 for achy joints, I had a Mirena coil for heavy/closer together periods, I stopped alcohol as it gave me night sweats and terrible sleep.

Thank you, did you get night sweats and if so what helps with that?

Ahh yes soz you did. I don’t drink much alcohol. Maybe Drs can give me something to help.

Perimenopause isn’t just about what doctors can give you. Some doctors are awkward when it comes to HRT too.

Ive found i need to take ownership of my body and recognise the changes. Eat nutritionally well, move your body a lot more, some supplements seem to help some symptoms for example i take magnesium and it helps my sleep. But it can be a mindfield and some are defo over egged.

My sister is on HRT and it’s helped alot but it’s not an all out ‘cure’ for ever symptom. There are some great threads on here with discussions.
