Sitting on the sofa last night before bed and I suddenly got this shocking headache come on only on the left side around my eye. I took my blood pressure (my mum did really young of a stroke so I'm a bit paranoid about that) but all fine so I took out my contact lenses and went to bed. Woke up today and eye is still painful but not in a conjunctivitis sort of way, it's not red or itchy or anything it just feels sort of like someone has punched me in the eye!
I am wearing my glasses but has anyone had this and is it likely to resolve itself? I've worn contacts for 20+ years and not had anything didn't settle with taking them out and leaving for a bit.
