Can someone tell me what the rota virus is? Not sure if the kids have it.

DD has been a bit off it since Thursday, on Friday ds1 had vomited all over his cot when he woke up, when dd came home from pre-school she fell asleep at the table and nodded on and off all day. Checked her temp and it was going up to 40.
Its kept doing this up until this morning.
DS1 started with diorreah yesterday and has woke up with it again and a temp.

Dh has also just come home from a night shift saying he feels like death and has had to go outside every 10 mins through the night as he's felt sick.

I'm full of bloody cold.

Does this sound rota virus like or do you need to be spewing your guts up permanently with that?

I think the apples have to be stewed too.

I think you're right. Apple juice or cooked apples.

My friend swears by her chicken soup recipe too.

I remember making it last year when dd and dh had gastric flu.
