Twitching, terrified. MND?

Started a year ago with burning muscles and twitching all over. Saw several different GPs, had loads of blood tests, no obvious cause. They have said anxiety and stress. I’ve had therapy to destress.

Recently my temple has begun to twitch and my face is burning like the nerves are inflamed. Twitching and burning is still all over, now my hand is twitching so bad that you can see it. GPs still refusing to refer me to neurology because I don’t meet the criteria, because it’s all over and not in one area, and I have no weakness or other neuro symptoms.

I’m shitting myself thinking I have MND or some other sinister disease. I’m literally having a nervous breakdown. Can anyone talk me down please?

@Gina1988 the foot issue could be unrelated. Plantar fasciitis causes pain in the sole/ heel. Have you seen a podiatrist?

Have you seen your doctor and had blood tests? That’s the first port of call.

@SallyWD same. For as long as I can remember. I constantly twitch. More so when I'm tired. It's usually small muscles ..... the one that went on for weeks in my eyelid was particularly annoying. This last week however it's been a big muscle in my neck which makes me feel like my heads wobbling 🤦🏻‍♀️ it's not but it's a bit disconcerting. I've never even spoken to a doctor about it 😬

Yeah I’ve had blood tests just low folic - just the ankle pain and burning feet made it uncomfortable to walk around with - hoping it’s nothing sinister as for the twitching that’s completely all over x

@Gina1988 I would see a podiatrist about the ankle and foot issue.
Antone else with minor twitches- please try magnesium. Try Epsom salts int he bath and a supplement at night. It also aids sleep.
