I lent over my sofa a couple of days ago getting my sons mobile and I heard a pop sound went to doctors told me I'd bruised under my ribs, it hurts when I breathe deep and my neck shoulders and back ache this morning.i hope it goes soo. As I've got health anxiety so that doesn't help anybody else had anything similar thanks.ive got co -codamol from the doctors.

I bruised my ribs earlier this year , it hurt to breathe and bend over . It was weeks before I could cough without winceing .
Unfortunately there isn't really a cure other than pain medication and time.

As difficult as it is, try take a couple of deep breaths every hour

Yes got some painkillers and have to take deep breaths every so often. This is second time I've done this did same a few months back on my right side.

Hey! I know this is an older post but did you ever get to the bottom of it? I’ve done something similar on Tuesday leaning over & hit my side of my ribs & feeling the same. I don’t feel like it’s an A&E emergency. Hurts to twist & move that side 😩xx

Yes I just got painkillers to take but all was fine after a week or soTold me to take deep breath's every now and again. But yes it's awful.
