Back pain advice

Hi - I'm not sure on next steps with my health so wondered if anyone had wise words or advice. Also, I am in pain (daily paracetamol with top ups of tramadol if pain levels are high).

Background

  • scoliosis convex to the right L4
  • degenerative disc disease L4, L5, S1
  • circumferential disc bulging
  • annular fissuring L3

Pain started approx 6-7 weeks ago after starting running and radiates between lower back (left side) and my abdomen. So severe that I've been in A&E twice as I can't work out if my back issues would cause this level of pain or if something else possible bowel- related is going on?!
Some days the pain is almost in my hip/pelvic bone and can run down the top half of my leg.

Anyway, I've waffled! Any advice?

Try to get a referral to physio, although that might take an age.
If you can possibly manage it, go private and get a really good physio. They work wonders.

Thank you for relying. I have booked to see a physio next week - hoping they can offer some help to my stupid body 🤣
