Hi lovely ladies. Just posting this incase anyone experiences the same. After an EPL I was scanned at a private clinic & the women said ‘do you get really painful periods’. I said ‘no, all very normal , no trouble at all’. She then went on to tell me I am likely to if not now, as I have Adenomyosis. I was pretty shocked as I’ve always had regular fine periods. Anyhow, went to a nhs specialist yesterday who examined & rescanned me, while looking at the previous scan she diagnosed me from & said it was utter BS In not so many words. That it should never be diagnosed with a scan alone especially during miscarriage & what she misdiagnosed was actually breakdown of pregnancy that’s very normal in miscarriage ! So he said, after all that, ‘you have a very healthy womb there’ ! lol! Incase anyone else gets diagnosed with this at a private scan …😆
