Anyone on Fostair 100/6 inhaler? What dose are you on?

Currently on Fostair 100/6. No flare ups for last few years except last month during possible Covid. Was on one puff morning and one puff night. Gp wants to increase to two puffs morning and two puffs night. Concerned this is a high dose? Might try two puffs at night one puff morning to see how I get on.

What dose are you on?

Two puffs three times a day.

Would you consider your asthma as mild, moderate or severe?

Not managed at the moment. They’ve said to reduce to 2x twice a day when I don’t need the reliever.

Mien well I have two puffs morning and two puffs at night.

When under the weather there are an extra two puffs mid day.

It's not that high of a dose, and they do produce a stronger dosage inhaler if it's required. I think the maximum recommend is no more than 8 puffs a day, but that's from the top of my head so I could be misremembering.

Mild

I was moved into fostair a few years ago - previously on beclometasone and salbutamol but wasn't fully controlled. 2 puffs morning, 2 puffs night. Sometimes extra during the day if I've got a cold or hayfever is very bad. I'd consider mine mild and controlled now
