how big is too big?

hi all currently ttc, just wondering how big is too big weight wise? i am 5"9 and 17st, altough quite broad i am fat!

would just like to hear from you larger ladies, and particularly those of you similar to me who have concieved or have had problems due to your weight.

Hi, just bumping this for you as I am also in a similar position..

I'm about 15s 5lbs and 5"11. I carry all my weight around my tum. Been ttc #2 for a wee while. Had blood checks which were fine but now wondering whether I should start dieting to increase my chances!!

I got pregnant (twice) at 16 1/2 stone and am only 5' 6". I only put on about a stone in total both times so ended up lighter after the birth than I was when I conceived!! I was pretty much the same weight with both lo's and got pregnant within a couple of months with dd and within 6/7 months with ds. With dd (4) I had pregnancy diabetes but that went away after the birth and I never had it when pregnant with ds (1 1/2)
