I don’t know about everyone else but my house constantly has a cold at the minute. After each cold I get really bad sinus pain but for months now I have a sore throat it gradually through the day gets worse that I need to take painkillers. It’s down one side I spoke to the gp over the phone who said it was heartburn related..as at that time I was having heartburn but I haven’t at the minute and my throats still sore

My persistent sore throat was GERD and I had no symptoms of heartburn. PPIs had it under control immediately.

They started me on the meds right away. I also had a chest x ray, blood tests and a camera in my throat but it wascto rivulets out cancer. The medication worked immediately.
