Sore throat

I've had a sore throat for a week now but it's really amped up lately. There's no white spots or pus. But my god it hurts to swallow. So so bad. It's keeping me awake with last night being the worst. I've taken diflam and painkillers and it's still bad. Is it ridiculous to go to the doctors with it?

Omg. My throat is raw and my ears hurt so much. So sick of it.

I had a very sore throat the last couple of days and tested positive for covid this morning.
