I am wondering if anyone else has or had this, I went for an xray today as I thought I sprained my foot, it's badly swollen just below my big toe and there is an awful burning stabbing pain, the xray showed its a benign foot tumor endochondromas and I now need am MRI.
I have taken 2 nurofen plus on Sunday night, 2 on Monday night and 2 tonight,
I don't want to take anymore as they contain codeine and I don't want to become dependent on painkillers but the pain is debilitating.
I've tried ice and elevation, neither works.
Does anyone have any advice on how I can manage the pain until my MRI
