question about MMR.......

my ds is nearly three.......he hasn't had his MMR for various reasons but we always intended to give it to him.

i'm assuming it's no problem for him to have it now, but was wondering if anyone else had left it so late and if so did it make any difference to the reaction your little one had to the jab?

i know i'm going to get the face at the GP when i take him for it.......

It should be fine. My two (6 and 7) are only having their second MMR tomorrow. I deliberately left it until they were older (rightly or wrongly, but's that what we chose to do), but I do believe they should have it. I think you will find the GP will just be pleased you are having it done.

My DD had her first lot of individual jabs because she was around when the rumours about the MMR just came out but hasn't had the second ones because we moved and the price is far more expensive than it was in our old house. My Doc is itching to get her MMR done.

My DS had his first MMR at 3 yo and I haven't taken him back for his booster because like emanon I thought we would leave it til he was older. He didn't have any reaction at all to the first MMR.

I'm very confused about the whole thing .. as you can tell! I must get it sorted out.
