Feels like I’m going to fall whenever I walk/stand still - anyone else?

I have been diagnosed with PPPD after nearly a year of odd symptoms. Does anyone else suffer with this or had it? If so - how long did yours last and was there anything that helped? I feel off balanced all the time!

The weird thing is, I walk normally and my gait is fine so no one really understand!

Hi op I also have pppd. I have had it since 2016 but am not as bad as I used to be. Feel free to ask me anything.

I got this around perimenopause. As I walked it felt like the floor was moving upwards to me .. weird. Settled after I was medicated for hypothyroidism and then hrt.

Could you be perimenopausal ?

When you say you’ve had it since 2016, as in non-stop symptoms? Have you tried any therapies/medication? I’m on propranolol and VRT which I think is starting to make a difference with minimal side effects.

Edit: forgot to ask - what are your symptoms and what triggered PPPD for you? How do you cope? Thanks!

I’m only in my 20s so unlikely! Blood tests ruled out any problems with my thyroid.
