Melanoma?

Hi everyone,

This morning my husband noticed that one of my moles has changed, I'll call my GP first thing Monday morning but I was just wondering if anyone has a mole similar to mine and was it normal or a melanoma?

No one here can tell you - you need a dermatologist referral from your GP.
However my husband had one which looked very similar to that and the dermatologist diagnosed a harmless solar keratosis. I hope yours is the same.

My Dad had a big one like that years ago which he had removed and it was fine.

I have a few like this and get them checked often, I have had one removed but it wasn’t cancer (was pre cancerous). Always get it checked.

It's not shrieking melanoma at me, but you should get it checked out. I too wondered about solar keratosis.
