Can you advise on these ECG readings? Irregular thumping heart beats

Hi,

If anyone can possibly advise it'd be really helpful.

I sometimes get very clunky thumpy heart beats that feel completely irregular. I decided to do ECGs on my Apple Watch and got the attached readings.

The rest of the time my watch says Sinus Rhythm, but for these occasions it says Inconclusive.

Background info: was on extremely cardiotoxic chemo incl Epirubucin, and also cardiotoxic MABs incl Trastuzumab.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

What does your doctor say?

I haven't seen them yet. It's not exactly quick or easy getting an NHS appointment.

Would you say it's urgent or nothing to worry about or in between?

I'm not a doctor, and these look very strange to me. I think you should show them to a doctor.

@GoldenPippin Thank you for your reply and advice. It certainly feels odd when those readings happen, so uneven and thumpy in my chest. It only seems to happen at night - that I am aware of at least.

I need to contact my GP anyway so will include this.

Thanks again for your reply.

You need a proper ECG.

When it happens do you have any other symptoms like dizziness or breathlessness, chest pressure or indigestion heart burny type stuff.

If you cant get a GP appointment, I would head to A and E. With your history of chemo, it needs investigating. Heart arrhythmia have a nasty habit of disappearing whenever an ECG machine is in the vicinity, so if it doesnt show up while you are being recorded, ask for a holter monitor to record for 48 hrs and if they cant do that get an urgent referral to cardiology.

Show everyone those Apple watch tracings, they are v useful
