Hello

my 10 year old autistic child had a bit of molar break off yesterday, phoned nhs 24, thy said since she is on waiting list for another treatment for sedation that might be another 2 years, no pain or swelling, that I should salt rinse and apply temp filling, we did this last night and she has woken with a sore throat.

What could that be? a reaction to something in the mix? should I call nhs 24 again and say about this or is this a common thing from using temporary filling stuff? Poor girl. I just want to help her and this now.

when she talks it sounds like that swollen gland way, I cant feel them though as she is highly sensitive.
