I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism following a Thyroidectomy in March. Having tried thyroxine which I have then discovered I have a sensitivity to due to the lactose (found impossible to get alternative) my endo is now trying 10mcg of T3. For the last month I have awful digestive/stomach problems. Pain and bloating, worse under my left rib, constipation and keeping me up all night. I have tried bucastem, ppi’s, charcoal, I am gluten and lactose free. I’ve been to see gastro and had extensive tests but all negative. He has now given me antibiotic but no results have shown I have bacteria. 3 days in and no better, I’m at my wits end, anyone had/have this?
