Bum fungal infection - can’t seem to get rid of

It seems to come and go, but after nearly a year still causing me pain and problems when it re-appears. On top of maybe some minor pile(s).

The GP has given me different creams that don’t seem to help. It just seems to come and go spontaneously.

I’m 60 and getting fed up of health issues. This is the latest one and driving me mad!

Any experience / thoughts?

If it’s between the cheeks, use a barrier cream and a strip
of loo roll tucked in there.
