No idea where else to post this and hoping someone may have had a similar experience/answers!

Broke my ankle 7 years ago falling off a horse, and have been adamant since that it's not right. Numerous GP visits being fobbed off with 'peroneal tendinitis', but I became more persistent after starting marathon training. Finally managed to get an X-ray which has confirmed it hasn't fused and is still broken.

I was in total shock in the appointment and all I managed to take away was that I'll get an orthopaedic referral in 8-12 weeks for the next steps. I'm now panicking not knowing what the 'cure' for this will be...surgery, fusing it? Will I run/ride again? Any experience much appreciated

Hi, has anyone any advice on getting into a 4 x4 with a broken ankle (right) which is non weight bearing. I can transfer into a normal car quite easily but I'm due to go away with my friend for a few days but she drives a 4 x4 . I personally don't know if it's possible safely ! Thanks
