Fainting when vomiting

Will be seeing my GP today but his usual line is 'what do you want me to do?' - so appreciate if anyone here can give some advice on what/If I should be asking for anything.

I suffer from migraines. I had a really severe one a month ago that made me vomit. When I vomited, I then fainted and cracked the back of my head open. Was in hospital, they said it was situational vomiting and adjusted migraine meds to try to prevent the migraine going forward which would in turn prevent the vomiting and the fainting.

This week, I picked up food poisoning or a bug. I vomited about 5 times in the space of 3 hours and fainted every time with it. Few bumps on the head and a broken toe. The first time I fainted I was still vomiting while lying down when I came around. After that DH was alert and tried to keep me in a safe position each time I fainted.

I'll be seeing the GP today for a separate issue but will be bringing this up. Is there anything I should ask him to check? Is there anything I can ask him to give me to stop the vomiting/fainting full stop? Appreciate any advice anyone can give.
