Hi, I have been having symptoms of increased need to urinate, and pressure for the last few months. I have had microscopic blood in my urine the last 3 tests....ranging from 50 to 70/ml3. Does anyone know the difference between this and 'per high power field ' of urine...as from what I've read that shouldn't be more than 2 red blood cells and mine is a lot higher. I had a urology appointment today and everything looked completely normal with no irritation at all. The doctor didn't seem at all concerned by this and said its very common. I'm just baffled at what could be causing it and my symptoms
