I've been found to be hyperthyroid last month - took ages to get anything checked as kept being told I was anxious post pulmonary embolism (mis-diagnosed as costochondria because of anxiety on file). Now it looks like the hyperthyroidism undiscovered probably caused the embolism. However I have just had to wait a whole month for bloods to check thyroid function, Graves and Coeliac (can't eat and can't do CT because until now noone would give me meds for the hyperthryoidim) which the GP yesterday agreed should have been done immediately, as well as medicating which they only approved yesterday - have to wait for pharmacy. I'm losing about 2Ib a week in weight and am underweight.
However this afternoon my bloods have come back with the wrong checks! I have another Full Bloods, a Liver Function and Urea and Electrolytes results - no thyroid function, Graves or Coeliacs.
Am I just being incredibly unlucky? It's enough to start making me paranoid.
I've booked in for the next earliest date for bloods - 8th July, so ANOTHER month of not being able to eat, know if I have autoimmune...
